Chamber members are invited to the first in this member-exclusive ‘World Class Whanganui’ series of manufacturing tours.

Q-West Boat Builders supply marine fabrication and engineering services for industries such as Defence, Fisheries, Oil and Gas, Civil Defence, Environment Impact, Coastal Protection, Passenger Transport and Tourism.

Over the years, the business has diversified in terms of the vessels they have and produce.  Supported by the best designers and manufacturing craftsmen, Q-West has been able to construct and maintain a wide range of crafts.

Q-West facilities include three workshops capable of fabricating vessels of up to 40 metres, 150 tonne capacity slipway with the ability to slip the vessels directly into the main construction hall, and Computer Aided Design capabilities managed by an established team of professional, qualified boat builders and engineers.

Please join us behind the scenes of Q-West, to meet with Myles and the team and enjoy the tour, followed with drinks, nibbles and networking.
