Let’s Talk About …. AI – Lunch and Learn with UCOL

Join us for the first of our “Let’s Talk About…..” lunch and learn events, brought to you by Business Whanganui Key Regional Partners, UCOL.

In this session, UCOL Academic Advisor and AI expert, Simon Murphy will let you know all about AI and how it is relevant to you, your business, and your profession, including:

• What is AI?
• How does ChatGPT work?
• What are the pros and cons of using AI?
• Tips and tricks on how to get the most out of AI.

A live session with ChatGPT will be displayed so that you can see how it works, and attendees are invited to bring a laptop or device with internet access if you would like to use ChatGPT in parallel to the session.

About Simon Murphy:

Simon is an Academic Advisor at UCOL, leading the response to the opportunities and challenges presented by Artificial Intelligence in an educational setting. Prior to joining UCOL, he taught physics at Massey University for the previous decade, with expertise in incorporating technology into education. Simon is a frequent user and proponent of Artificial Intelligence and has led UCOL staff workshops regarding using AI.
