Women After 5 : Women of Influence Revisited

All eyes are on the rapidly approaching New Zealand General Elections, but also vitally important for our community is what is happening at a local level.

Last year we heard from women candidates in the 2022 local body elections who were standing for Whanganui District Council. Now, one year in we revisit those conversations with our women Whanganui District Councillors, hear from them how the first year of the new Council has been for them, and what they see for our future.

Joining us for this Women After 5 event will be Whanganui District Deputy Mayor Helen Craig, and Councillors Charlotte Melser, Glenda Brown, Jenny Duncan, and Philippa Baker-Hogan.

Ticket price include liquid refreshments and a selection of wonderful nibbles curated by the talented team at The Burrow.
