This service currently calls into Auckland\, Tauranga\, and major Australian ports\, and will now also include CentrePort Wellington.\nRecent expansion of international connections\, including MSC’s Noumea Service (regular calls into Wellington from July 2025\, linking Central New Zealand directly with New Caledonia and wider Pacific trade routes).\nRecent announcement that the MSC Eagle Service will commence service in February 2026 connecting New Zealand and Wellington directly to the East Coast of North America\, West Coast via Transhipment\, and into Europe.\nThe wider opportunities CentrePort can provide for imports and exports in and out of Central New Zealand.\n\nWith multiple new services now calling at Wellington\, these developments offer greater choice\, efficiency\, and expanded access to key international markets — opening fresh opportunities for Whanganui businesses to move goods more effectively across the Tasman and beyond. \nThis is a chance to hear first-hand how these changes could benefit your business\, ask questions\, and connect with the CentrePort team. \nA light lunch will be provided courtesy of CentrePort. \nSpaces are limited.
